What are your hours of operation?
Our office is open from 8am to 5pm, M-F Sat 8am-3pm. We are available fro moving 7 days a week. If you have any non-immediate questions, we also check our email often. Generally, our moves take place between 8am and 10pm, but we are willing to move any time of day or night, including weeknights and weekends.
How does your scheduling work?
Two jobs, per truck per day, no need to stress out anyone by cramming in more. Our trucks are dispatched at 8:30 a.m. and usually arrive to move at 9:00 a.m. barring any unforeseen traffic delays. We generally arrive at our second job by 2:00 p.m.
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Fully, Over 40 years and governed by the Illinois Commerce Commission to boot.
What are your rates?
We charge a competitive hourly rate that depends on a number of factors, including the number of men needed to execute your move, travel distance between your initial and final destinations, and other considerations.
Do you have an hourly minimum?
Yes, we have a 2 hour minimum
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash and all Major credit cards
Do you provide a receipt?
Yes, we will provide you with a bill of lading.
How far in advance do I need to book my move?
The end of the month is by far the busiest time to schedule a move, so please contact us in advance to make sure that we have availability. We specialize in emergency moves but flexibility on both sides is a must.
What about deposits/cancellation fees?
We do not require deposits. Notice of cancellation 24 hours before the move is appreciated.

What size move can you accommodate?
Our trucks are 26 feet, we can accommodate up to a 4 bedroom home.
What geographical area do you service? Do you provide long-distance moves?
We specialize in Chicago and all surrounding suburbs. We also provide service throughout the great state of Illinois.
I am moving in from out-of-state. Can you help me unload my truck when I arrive?
Absolutely, we do truck loads and unloads, pod loads and unloads, and help you arrange your new home.
Do you move pianos and other large, items?
Yes we move Pianos and other large furniture items. Call or email us to obtain more specific information about moving your other large items.
Do you move at odd times (holidays, evenings, weekends, and early mornings)?
With the exception of major national holidays, we move 7 days a week.
Moving Day:
Do you provide blankets and shrink-wrap?
Do you provide moving supplies, wardrobe boxes, etc.?
Yes, we provide all necessary packing material, we also deliver materials before the move for free when purchase is $100.00 or more.
How will you transport my belongings?
We have a fleet of box trucks 26 feet.
Is tipping customary, and what is the standard tip?
While tipping is not necessary, it is appreciated if you are satisfied with our service. The amount is totally up to you. As a general guideline, however, “good” tips typically amount to an extra $5 per hour per mover, “great” tips to approximately $10 per hour per mover.
What if something gets damaged during the move?
We are fully insured and provide the state requirement. Our primary goal is to make you as satisfied as possible, so in the unfortunate and unlikely event that an item is damaged, we will compensate you, replace the item, or provide a repair.
What if the actual time is longer or shorter than the estimate?
An estimate is just that and while our estimates are typically very accurate, there are sometimes unforeseeable events that can lengthen a move (traffic, more stuff than anticipated,). Our moving experts will do a walk through with you before the move starts verify our estimate.
